PhotoFromEmojiAI.com is an online browser-based tool for converting photos into emoji art. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the operators of PhotoFromEmojiAI.com.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Photos or images you upload — processing is 100% local in your browser.
• Generated emoji art — it is created and stored only in your browser tab.
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers (no account required).
• Payment information (the tool is free; no payments are processed).

3. Information We Do Collect

We collect limited, anonymous usage data via third-party analytics services to understand how the tool is used and to improve it:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — collects anonymised data including page views, session duration, device type, browser type, approximate geographic region (country/city level), and referral source. IP addresses are anonymised by default. Google Analytics does not receive any photo data. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Google AdSense — we display advertisements provided by Google. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

4. Cookies

PhotoFromEmojiAI.com itself does not set first-party cookies. Third-party services we use (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) may set their own cookies. These are used for analytics and ad personalisation as described above.

5. How Your Photos Are Processed

When you upload a photo:

1. The file is read by your browser's File API — entirely locally.
2. It is decoded into pixel data using an off-screen HTML5 Canvas element — entirely locally.
3. Colour matching runs in your browser's JavaScript engine — entirely locally.
4. The resulting emoji mosaic is drawn to a Canvas element — entirely locally.
5. The final PNG is generated by the browser's Canvas toBlob/toDataURL API and offered for download — entirely locally.

At no point does any image data leave your device or pass through our servers, because we do not have servers involved in image processing.

6. Third-Party Links

Our website contains links to third-party sites (including our WhatsApp community group). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

7. Children's Privacy

PhotoFromEmojiAI.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
